With the 2007 release of their debut album, All Hour Cymbals, Yeasayer has quickly grown into the band to watch.
Members Chris Keating (vocalist and keyboardist) and Anand Wilder (vocalist and guitarist) grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, where both honed their vocal skills in a barbershop quartet. The two parted ways for college but later reunited in New York to establish what would soon become Yeasayer.
Yeasayer’s sound is unique due to a fusion of experimental rock and harmonizing vocals. The end product is an exciting new development in the world of indie music.
The band has played at both South by Southwest and Austin City Limits, but this will be their first appearance at Fun Fun Fun Fest. At the concert, fans can expect to hear a few of the group’s new songs off of their upcoming album, which is to be released in 2010.
